I was driving my car, and accidently turned on KPFK. I started to listen to these Iraq Veterans; one after another on the radio March 16th, 2008. Young and older men and women, some highly decorated, others new to the war. Some highly educated, some not, but one thing was for sure –they were passionate. I literally had to pull over in a parking lot for two hours to listen with my 16 year old son, and 14 year old daughter in the car. The stories we heard, broke our heart. Just writing about it today brings me to that moment when I realized that we as Americans not being quiet and being a voice- is what has always changed the tides of democracy.wholesale lingerie I applaud and give a standing ovation to the soldiers, their families and supporters who threw themselves into a war that still we are trying to understand.
